I spoke to several other dealerships about outright selling my Toyota and I received the same answer from all of them. We will take your car and pay the bank, but you’ll have to wait anywhere from 3 weeks to possibly 3 months to receive your money. Pretty much, I have to wait until they have the title. I spoke to Greg and Dillon that morning about setting this up. Without hesitation they hopped right on it. Within about 1-1.5 hrs the whole thing was done. Phenomenal work gentlemen! Also, the trade in value was excellent. As always, it’s great doing business with Dan Porter Toyota. This is my 3rd time using y’all and I’ll continue to use you for all my vehicles! I am purchasing a car from this dealership because I like the vehicle and have limited time as a nursing student. However, their customer service is poor, with no therapeutic communication. I informed them that I live out of state, wouldnât visit the dealership, and would use my credit union, which they said was fine. They explained the credit union check would need to clear, and paperwork would be sent to me for signature. Despite agreeing to this, every time I call, they unnecessarily emphasize the check clearing, even in unrelated discussions, making me feel uncomfortable, possibly due to my accent. This repetitive behavior feels distrustful, as though they think I might not follow through. Iâve dealt with many dealerships online for better deals, but this has been the worst. While their pricing is transparent and free of hidden fees, their poor communication and salesmanship overshadow the experience. They would benefit from professional customer service training.

I thought i had an appointment scheduled on the computer. I drove over 130 miles to find out that I didn't have an appointment, and could not be worked in the last day of the month. So I drove home completely frustrated. I was trying to be efficient, and I didn't realize I had to get a call back to confirm the appointment. So now on, I will only call for appointments. And I definitely will not be sending credit card info by text.

Old long haired sales man talking about moving to Belgium tried telling me changing your own oil voids warranties. They should know about the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act. Also might have better chance of selling vehicles if the owners wife would keep their dogs out of them! I dub thee greasy and untrustworthy.

Charged close to $800.00 to mount and balance tires and rims that I brought in. I have had a lot of Toyotas in my life. Here for work from out of town - I would not recommend. Everyone I have spoken with agrees that this is an outrageous price despite the cost of new sensors. They did absolutely nothing when I contested the price.

Just warning anyone and everyone to take vehicle repairs elsewhere. The lady at the check-in is very rude, she thinks she knows everything, but knows absolutely nothing. She will say one thing and then do the other. They will always quote you low just to get you in the door. This is a big no no for repair shops. You will leave there paying three times the quote price guaranteed. I gave this repair shop three strikes, three separate times and they missed badly all three times. Please before taking here do your homework!

I went in to get a quote on my car for trade-in, since we were looking to upgrade. They started off very helpful and they looked at my car, finding that it had the check engine light on. I explained why it was on, and that it was a simple 02 sensor issue that we could fix before trading in. They were very condescending and acted like I was lying. One man said anytime he's ever seen that light on, it's almost definitely a serious issue not worth taking a risk on. I asked them to verify the issue then and use their machine to see what codes came up. While I was waiting, I overheard the men whispering about my car and what quote to give me and they started laughing. I honestly don't know if it was directed toward me and my car, but they could have been more professional and not whispered about me just a few feet away. Eventually someone explains that two codes came up and said it was the 02 sensor, and some codes appeared without a name/explanation. They told me that in order to find out what they are, I'd have to put my car in the shop for diagnostics. I asked if they could just look them up in the system and they said it wasn't possible. I'm sorry, but how do you have codes created for these issues, but no idea what they are? How were the codes made then? Anyway, throughout the explanation he tried to make the issue seem more drastic than it was. He claimed it could be as serious as the catalytic converter, then he lowballed an offer on the car as if doing me a favor. I honestly believed half of this stuff until I went home and my husband explained that they were lying to me and taking advantage of my inexperience. I knew dealerships took advantage of people with pricing, but this was ridiculous. I'll never go back here again. I'd rather drive to bismarck than give my business to unhelpful people.
